Hebrew Academy Library Presents: Author's Day

On Thursday, January 25th, the Parent Association of Hebrew Academy is proud to celebrate Author's Day with your students. We will be visited by two authors, David Newman and Claude Abraham. Mr. Newman is an accomplished and award-winning author of children's books. For more about his books, you can check out his website.

If you would like your student to have his books, you can fill out this form. Additionally, Adam will be happy to sign any purchases the day of the event

Dr. Claude Abraham will be addressing the Upper School students. He has written 14 books, been knighted by the French government, given the Humboldt prize by the German government, and made a fellow of the Humanities Research Centre of the Australian National University for his knowledge and expertise in the French Revolution. 

We are very excited to have these distinguished authors visit our students and we look forward to hearing about how much they enjoyed their experience!




Adam T. Newman is an award-winning children's book author whose childhood consisted of sports, reading comic books and playing with action figures. His love for film, writing, and cartoons led him cross-country to Los Angeles where he landed a job working for a children's animation company. 

Adam has worked for numerous film studios as an art director and graphic designer. He is also the recipient of the prestigious "World's Greatest Dad" award, which was presented by his two wonderful kids in the form of a t-shirt.




Dr. Claude Abraham was born in Germany and has been living in the US for 7 decades.He is a proud grandfather of two Hebrew Academy of Orange County Students (Dovid and Jacob) and has a total of 7 wonderful grandchildren and 1 great-grand child. He is elated to speak with the Upper School about the writing process as a leading expert in the 17th century French Revolution .
