What a tremendous opportunity to be a part of the OC Unity Torah and celebrate its completion. Families from all around Orange County joined together as One Community in this beautiful event complete with delicious food, games and crafts for the kids, joyous dancing and friends both new and old.
This celebration began with a lesson and history of the makings of a Torah Scroll. Guests got to hear all about how an actual Torah Scroll is created along with all the special materials that are used, adding value and meaning to this auspicious occasion.
A joyous parade complete with music, singing and dancing brought the new OC Unity Torah got to meet the Torah's already housed on the Hebrew Academy Campus.
More dancing followed as all the Torahs and community came together to share in this special celebration. A special Torah reading made the dream of this special Torah a reality.
